All of our holidays are bespoke and created for you, we have put together an example 16 day itinerary that is able to give you an idea of some of the adventures that you could have on your trip.
Day 1
Most flights arrive in the late afternoon or evening into Lima. You will be taken by private transport to your hotel and will have the late afternoon to relax and explore Miraflores.
Day 2
The morning you have the option to explore the incredible foods of Lima, on a half day bike food tour. This for many of our guests is their highlight in Lima. Other options include a half/full day city tour, exploring the many museums and cultural sites that Lima boasts.
Day 3
Day 3 begins with an early morning bus ride to Nazca. Once in Nazca you will fly with one of the most reputable plane companies over the lines, seeing first hand these mysterious and mind boggling human feats of engineering. In the evening take a visit to the Planetarium before taking a night bus to Arequipa.
Day 4
Is a relaxing day in Arequipa, where you are able to explore the city, visiting the impressive Santa Catalina Monastery and trying the famed food at a local Picanteria.
Day 5
An early is needed for your private two day trek in the Colca Canyon. One of our excellent guides will lead you down and through this incredible piece of nature. You will stay the night in the Oasis at the bottom of the Canyon.
Day 6
The second day of trekking leads slowly leads you up and out of the Canyon. After visiting the Condor lookout you are able to stay in one of the impressive Lodges or hotels in the Canyon, or relax in one of the many hot springs.
Day 7
A relaxing morning is available before taking the tourist bus from Chivay to Puno. Stopping along the way at lookouts. With an English speaking guide you can really appreciate the scenery and sights that you pass.
Day 8
Your two day Lake Titicaca private tour starts with a boat ride, where you visit the floating islands of Urcos before traveling to your homestay on one of the larger islands. You are able to go trekking, for a run or just relax in such a calm and tranquil location.
Day 9
The second day of your time on Lake Titicaca starts with some Kayaking, before you slowly make your way back to Puno. You have the afternoon in Puno to get your land legs back before taking a night bus to Cusco.
Day 10
In the city of Cusco, you have a morning city tour and in the afternoon, a cooking class where you are able to learn how to make some of the incredible Peruvian dishes such as Lomo Saltado.
Day 11
We travel deep into the Sacred Valley where we run an incredible route passing small Andean communities where Quechua is still the language spoken. We make a pass of 4,500 meters with views of mountain top lakes. We get to finish the run in the hot springs of Lares, where we spend the night.
Day 12
Todays route leaves the hot springs taking us through breathtaking scenery and passing many llamas. We finish in the small community of Patacancha, before taking the train to Aquas Calientes.
Day 13
A private tour of Machu Picchu, where you are able to explore this truly spectacular wonder of the world. Climbing Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu mountain gives you an impressive view of Machu Picchu below and of course the classic photo.
Day 14
A morning run followed by some retail therapy, exploring some of the artesanal markets and the beautiful Andean textiles. The afternoon you could choose to go Quad biking or Paddle Boating or one of the many other activities on offer.
Day 15
Our popular Llama route, a challenging route, which is at 4,000 metres or above for the 16km but with views that are truly breathtaking and passing Rainbow Mountain, an incredible natural beauty. This route is for many the highlight of their trip.
Day 16
Returning back to Lima and onward travel.
